Nathalie Trottier is a professor of animal nutrition in the Department of Animal Science at Michigan State University. Her teaching responsibilities include advanced non-ruminant nutrition for senior undergraduate students and graduate level protein metabolism and nutrition course. Her research focuses on the impact of dietary amino acid balance and protein quality on performance and nitrogen metabolism of swine and horses, and determining efficiencies of amino acid utilization for gestation and lactation for factorial prediction of amino acid requirements.
