Eric Williams, PharmD

Law Partner

Eric Williams is a partner in the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Law Department. His practice is focused on counseling clients on the protection of intellectual property, including organizations in the agricultural, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.

Eric grew up in Clinton County, Indiana and received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in 2003 where he conducted research on tyrosine kinase receptors. He spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow in clinical research at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and GlaxoSmithKline, and then worked at Eli Lilly and Company prior to attending law school. He has been at Barnes & Thornburg since 2008 and currently advises many clients in the agricultural industry.
